Paydar Properties was established in 1983 to develop, acquire and manage commercial real estate with a specific focus on investments in undervalued and distressed properties.

Since inception, transactions have exceeded $2 billion in market value and over a million square feet of commercial real estate.

Included in these projects were numerous masterplanned land developments and more than 1,000 units throughout San Diego, La Mesa, El Cajon and Escondido.

Reza Paydar is the chairman, Chief Executive Officer and owner of a conglomerate of companies based in Southern California. Since the creation of Paydar Companies in 1983, Mr. Paydar has personally contributed to large-scale projects involving the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate. Within Mr. Paydar's vast range of commercial entities is the Sunland RV Resorts family of properties. Under his guidance, Sunland has expanded to nine resorts in two states. Sunland RV Resorts is one of the largest privately owned outdoor resort companies in the nation, and one of the most successful. Most recently, Mr. Paydar has expanded Sunland into high-end ownership resorts in some of the country's most coveted vacation destinations. Since 1983, Mr. Paydar's holdings have expanded to include a diverse portfolio of assets. Mr. Paydar has established partnerships and investments in commercial projects covering a wide range of commercial entities for his companies spanning more than three decades.

Through Sunland RV Resorts (www.sunlandrvresorts.com), Mr. Paydar has extensive RV Park holdings particularly in Southern California, some of which are in the early stages of planning for redevelopment as multifamily residential.

Mr. Paydar has developed a multitude of commercial assets including a 112,000 biotech research facility, an 80,000 sf medical office complex, a 48.7 acre site with 9 pads developed into various office uses, and a 120,000 sf speculative office development all located in San Diego, CA.

Mr. Paydar completed his education in England and holds a Masters of Science degree in Operational Research and Pure Mathematics and a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, Statistics and Computers from The University of Leeds in Great Britain.

As Acquisition Executive, Ryan Brunswick spearheads the acquisition and disposition of assets for Paydar Properties, Inc.

Utilizing his extensive knowledge in value-add investment sales, focusing on the institutional multifamily business, he identifies valuable properties to acquire, while supporting the growth and redevelopment of existing assets.

Prior to his employment with Paydar Properties, Ryan worked for commercial brokerage Berkadia, where he contributed to over $100 million of sales volume throughout Southern California. Before that role, he worked as an Acquisitions Associate for Waypoint Homes, where he helped grow the company into one of the largest SFR landlords in the nation.

Ryan studied management science at MIT and business administration at Chapman University, with an emphasis in finance. He also played football at both universities as a cornerback.

An avid surfer, born in Berkeley and raised in Laguna Beach, Ryan enjoys spending much of his time outdoor.

As Vice President of Finance, Tom is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of finance and accounting for the Paydar group of companies.

Tom has an extensive background in real estate finance, having held various progressive roles in both accounting and asset management as it relates to the full range of commercial real estate asset classes. He has a proven track record of success with demonstrated leadership and technical skills.

Tom earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University, Oxford, OH with a major in Accountancy and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.

Originally from the state of Ohio, Tom moved to California by way of Chicago in 1999 and has made San Diego his home. In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Crista Sosenko joined Paydar Properties, Inc. in 2014 as In-House Counsel and assists in handling the legal affairs of the company. Crista practices primarily in the areas of business, corporate and real property transactions.

Crista is a member of the Business and Real Property Law sections of the California State Bar. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

She earned her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law (Go Green!) and her B.B.A. in Business Economics from Grand Valley State University where she became a Member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society.

She enjoys learning and continuing to broaden her education. Most recently, she attended the University of San Diego and earned the Real Estate Finance, Investments and Development Certificate and she also completed a Real Estate Tax and Accounting Extension course at UC San Diego.

Before escaping to sunny San Diego, Crista was born and raised in Northern Michigan. In her free time she enjoys playing piano and attempting to balance her love of cookies with yoga.

As the Chief Strategist Officer (CSO), Oscar Riveros supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining corporate strategic initiatives.

The job of the CSO is to clarify the company's vision and communicate it to the masses, in order to execute a strategy and achieve an objective. Every business unit must share the vision and understand the gravity of every decision involved, as well as the discipline required to create change. Essentially, it requires transparency and accountability.

A consultative role, the CSO is part-leader, part-doer, with the responsibility of ensuring that execution of the strategy supports all strategic elements. This unique mastery is the result of a multitude of different operating experiences and involves being both a creative thinker and influential collaborator. CSOs are often executives who have worn many hats at a variety of companies or agencies before taking on the responsibilities and tasks that come with the job title.
